S4C Television will be broadcasting the event live from Wales, to include a performance of a piano work by Garry Wilkinson
Televised Performance
Jazzin’ Grace is a short Piano Solo from the album, Piano Portraits. This book includes twenty-four pieces in diverse styles that are intermediate in difficulty while there are some more challenging moments! Jazzin’ Grace is currently set as grade six in the examination syllabus of Trinity College London. Other popular works in the album include The Trick Cyclist, originally set as grade four. Oiseaux d’eau is one of the more challenging pieces. While impressionistic in style, often evoking a reflective mood, there are complexities of texturing and coordination. This piece is set as recital diploma repertoire for associate examinations; ATCL.
