is a suite of Irish folk songs in special, easy-to-play arrangements for cello with piano accompaniment. The twelve songs cover a range of moods, some lyrical and romantic, others fun and familiar. These are all charming arrangements while the set ends in high comedy with the song, Mister Grumguffenhoff! This is a real showpiece finale that includes pizzicato effects.

Did I say twelve? Look out for number five in the set, while this titled The Minstrel Boy, it ends with the song, Garryowen. Perhaps this title is less familiar, but you will recognise the tune instantly. It is in many Hollywood US civil war movies and also in several other films.
